Description

Flirtation in Little Italy is a 30 x 40 in. acrylic on canvas. The painting depicts two couples engaged in romantic flirtation at a restaurant in Little Italy. The seated couple is toasting with wine, celebrating some special event. The restaurant is in San Diego. The real name of the restaurant is Davanti, on India Street. The two couples are myself and my wife, who are standing, and Fabio and Valerie. Fabio and Valerie are dancers in our Argentine Tango performing group Tango Alma. This paining was awarded second place in the San Diego County Fair acrylic cityscape division in 2015. The painting is also featured in my book The Spirited Woman.
